Kurt Lupinski
Kurt is the Head Baseball Coach at Lower Columbia College and bolsters over a decade of experience at the college level. He was on the undergraduate staff at Oregon State University and has moved his way through the college game with stops at Chapman University, Oregon Tech, Chemeketa Community College, Lower Columbia as an assistant coach, and Washington State University before being named the head coach at LCC in 2021. Coach Lupinski is a native of Klamath Falls, Oregon and graduated from Henley High School.
Ashley Lupinski
Ashley is a Tumwater Washington Native where she was more than a standout softball player, garnering herself a scholarship to the University of Tennessee where she had a successful career as a four-year starter. She brings Women’s College World Series experience as a player, but also as a coach while spending time with the University of Washington Softball program as an assistant coach. She won a State Championship as a High School Coach at Tumwater in the spring of 2022.
Mike Callia
Coach Callia is in his first year on staff at Lower Columbia College as Assistant Pitching Coach and Director of Player Development. Callia transitioned into coaching after a playing career that included time at Lower Columbia College and West Texas A&M University. While at Lower Columbia, Callia was a part of the 2019 NWAC Championship team. Callia also currently serves as pitching coach of the Wenatchee Applesox of the West Coast League. Coach Callia is a native of Renton, Washington and graduated from Kentridge High School.
Brian Valentine
Brian Valentine serves as the Recruiting Coordinator for the Lower Columbia baseball program while working with hitters and outfielders. Before LCC, Valentine spent 5 years on staff at Linfield University and a summer coaching hitters in the West Coast League with the Kelowna Falcons. The Vancouver, WA native played collegiately at Yakima Valley College in the NWAC then finished and graduated from Linfield University.
