About Us

JBD Athletics was formed in 2022 to create more opportunities for youth baseball and softball players to experience camps, clinics, tournaments, instruction, and fun! Founded by Kurt Lupinski, and his wife Ashley, they take great pride in being able to help grow the games of softball and baseball in the region. Both are avid sports fans and have spent time coaching collegiately in their respective sports.

Ashley is a Tumwater Washington Native where she was more than a standout softball player, garnering herself a scholarship to the University of Tennessee where she had a successful career as a four-year starter. She brings Women’s College World Series experience as a player, but also as a coach while spending time with the University of Washington Softball program as an assistant coach. She won a State Championship as a High School Coach at Tumwater in the spring of 2022.

Kurt is the Head Baseball Coach at Lower Columbia College and bolsters over a decade of experience at the college level. He was on the undergraduate staff at Oregon State University and has moved his way through the college game with stops at Chapman University, Oregon Tech, Chemeketa Community College, Lower Columbia as an assistant coach and Washington State University before being named the head coach at LCC in 2021.

JBD Athletics staffs their events with local high school, club, and college coaches to provide modern insights and instruction while offering events at affordable prices and registration options to accommodate as many young athletes and their families as possible!
